how to set up your fundraising page

Thanks for joining us for the leadership retreat! The next step is to set up your personal fundraising page. To do this, simply follow the steps below:

1. Click on the little button of a person's silhouette in the upper righthand corner of this page, next to "DONATE", while you are logged in. (If you're not logged in, then click here.)

2. Fill in your personal information.

3. Select a profile image, choose a headline, and write out why participating in this retreat is important to you under the prompt "Why do you support 99Rise?" Creating a short video to appeal to friends and family is also a great idea to make your page more personable. If you go this route, simply copy/past the YouTube URL into the "Why do you support 99Rise?" field and it will automatically generate your video.

4. Set your fundraising goal. Consider setting a higher fundraising goal than the minimum: sometimes a higher goal will prompt bigger donations.

The minimum fundraising goal is $350. This is the estimated total cost of food, lodging, and transportation for retreat participants, divided by the estimated total number of participants. We are taking collective responsibility to raise funds so that all of our leaders can attend this retreat, regardless of their economic means.

Once you have set up your fundraising page, share your page on social media and email it to friends and family to help spread the word.
